He is survived by: his wife Karen Hamrick Emery; his daughters, Kristin Holcomb (Todd) of Gaffney and Kimberly Langley (Brian) of Syracuse, Utah; his sisters, Denise Taylor (Kenneth) of Latta, SC and Rita Clark of Shelby, NC; and his grandchildren, Stephen Holcomb, Sarah Holcomb and Chase Langley.
