She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cleve McSwain and Lula Waddell McSwain; her sisters, Virginia McSwain McDaniel and Betty McSwain Davis; and her brother-in-law Ferman McDaniel.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Gene McDaniel of Rocky Mount, NC; and her caregiver Carol Pettit of Gaffney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
