She was predeceased by: her husband Charles William McConnell; her parents, Joseph C. McAbee and Mary Ivey McAbee; and her sister Peggy McAbee Hicks (Jim). She is survived by: her children, Dr. Charles Jeffery McConnell of Douglasville, GA and Nancy Jo McConnell of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Laci McConnell Kirby (Chase) and Bryce Cayden McConnell; and her great grandchild Adaleigha Rosabelle Kirby.
