He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Ross McCraw; his parents, J. M. McCraw and Leona Blackwell McCraw; and his siblings, Steve McCraw, Gerald McCraw and Brenda McCraw Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter April Bender (Joe) of Gaffney; his grandsons, Joseph Bender and Luke Bender; and his nephews, Michael Martin and Robert Martin.
