She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Don" Hugh Brown; her parents, Lloyd Spargo and Mary Fraley Spargo; and her siblings, Dick Spargo, Delores Mancusi, Treva Edmondson and Doris "Mickey" Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Donald "Donny" Brown II (Beth) of Hickory, NC, Michael Edward Brown of Pensacola, FL and Kelly Brown Hughes (Tim Scheibel) of Greenville; her sister Sue Chappel of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Dr. Dylan Brown (Gray), Avery Brown, Hogan Davidson (Aliyah), Rainey Davidson, Griffin Hughes, Anna Brown, Peyton Brown, Colton Brown, Stanley Yeargin (Sara), Dr. Emily Howard (Grandison), Luke Phillips (Hope) and Seth Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Seth Jackson, Averie Yeargin and Olivia Yeargin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grassy Pond Baptist Church (254 Grassy Pond Rd, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
