It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Louise Brown of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rathel Raines and Mildred Emory Raines; her husband Lawrence E. Brown; and her siblings, Margaret Raines and George Raines.
She is survived by : her children, Mary Atkins (Ben) of Gaffney, SC, Tina Brown of Moore, SC and Benjamin Brown of Charleston, SC; and her siblings, Mary Linder of Gaffney, SC and Marvin Raines (Ann) of Inman, SC.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
