She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Randy Lee Carnes; her parents, Boyd W. Smith and Eddie Sue Pitchford Smith; her children, Justin Lee Carnes of Gainesville, GA and Jessica Renee Carnes; her sisters, Denise Martin (Gary) of Oakwood, GA and Leasha Worton (Allen) of Franklin, TN; her nephews, Alex Martin and Jacob Martin; her niece Claire Worton; her great-nephew Hudson Martin; and her great-niece Amelia Martin.
