He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Lee Childers and Betty Jean Bridges Childers. He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Childers Beeker (Jonathan) of Hillsborough, NC and Nikki Childers Ramsey of Gaffney; his sister Lori Covington (Kevin) of Gaffney; his niece Taylor Covington of Boston; and his former spouse Beverly Walker Cox of Concord, NC.
