We announce the death of Scotty Lee Hampton of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 58. Scotty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his parents, Nickie Lee Hampton and Joyce Peeler Hampton of Gaffney; his brother Ronnie Wayne Hampton (Kimberly) of Gaffney; his nephew Billy Hampton of Gaffney; his aunt Jody Dover; and his cousins, Chris Dover and Mike Dover.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
