She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Sue Collins Raines; her daughter Brandy Mayfield-Hicks; her granddaughter Alyssa Jade Mayfield; her brother Richard Raines; and her close friend Brenda Chumley.

She is survived by : her husband Danny Ray Mayfield; her children, Benjamin "Benji" Mayfield of Gaffney and Tracy Oaks (David) of Shelby; her daughter-in-law Melissa Hicks of Chesnee; her sister Linda Wilson of Shelby; her grandchildren, David Oaks and Chase Oaks; and her great grandchild Benjamin Wyatt Oaks.
