With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tonya Payne of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Ernie Payne; and her parents, Dolphus Medley and Dora West Medley. She is survived by: her children, Joshua Moore (Joyce) of Gaffney and Nicole Millwood (Eric) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Brandon Mullinax, Tyler Ramsey, Zach Millwood (Madison), Daniel Moore, Brett Moore, Tanner Moore (Winter), Landon Moore (Jerica), Madison Moore and Cassidy McSwain (Dylan). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; five siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
