It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Morgan of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thurman Morgan and Edith Neal Morgan; and his brother Larry N. "Buzz" Morgan. He is survived by: his fiancée Charlotte Adams; his children, Brandon Morgan (Jill) of Inman and Melissa "Sissy" Morgan of Gastonia, NC; his stepchildren, James Adams of Murphy and Joyce Stevens (James) of Blairsville, GA; his sisters, Janis M. Byars of Blacksburg and Phyllis M. Coyle (David) of Gaffney; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis Arrington, Shelby Adams, Alyssa Idles (Caleb) and Laura-Beth Adams; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Kristin Ellinwood and Beth Williamson.
