Richard P. Huggins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard P. Huggins of Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Steven Huggins and Flora Mae Cooper Huggins. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Huggins (Jennifer), Wesley Huggins (Laurie) and Kimberly Miles (Richie); his grandchildren, Colby Huggins, Taylor Dimery (Ryan), Mallory Huggins, Landon Miles, Johnathon Huggins, Carsten Huggins and Savanna Huggins; his great grandchild Abigail Rayne Dimery; his sister Carolyn Collins (Larry); and also, Levern Huggins, James "Bill" Huggins, Emory "Bruce" Huggins, Emalene Huggins Cox, Edwin Wayne Huggins, Joseph "Joe" Huggins and Frances "Marilyn" Lewis. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rains Freewill Baptist Church (2911 Hampton St, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
