He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newton Raines and Junior Mae Greenway Raines. He is survived by: his wife Kim D. Raines; his children, John David Raines, Jordan Raines and Addison Raines; his brothers, Billy Raines and Donnie Joe Raines; and his grandchildren, Eddie and Hannah Grace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (611 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Beaufort, SC 29906). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that was very close to his heart.
