He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lou McDaniel Scheidt; his children, Michelle Lynne Scheidt Basham, Dawn Christine Daniel Crumpton, David Walker Daniel (Eva) and Courtney Nicole Scheidt Womack (Matthew); his grandchildren, Kyle, Maddison, Makenzie, Kooper, Kole, Cooper, Brooklyn, Grayson, Walker, Caroline "Carrie", Abigail "Abbie", Isaac, Gabriel, Judah, Analeigh "Annie", Savannah, Eason and Cullen; his great grandchild David Walker Daniel, III; and his brother Michael Paul Scheidt (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gantt Street Baptist Church (2121 Gantt St, Cayce, SC 29033). A reception will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
