He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Lee; and his siblings, Terry Schrum and Artie McCombs. He is survived by: his parent Murl Costner Shrum; his daughter Anna Puckett; his son-in-law Casey Puckett; and his grandson Carter Puckett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
