With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Geiger Kaigler Jr. (Gaston, South Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Geiger, Sr. and Clara West Kaigler; his wife Carrie Mae Kaigler; his son-in-law T. Lee Branham; and his great grandchildren, Dale Branham and Sawyer Pou.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Carrington (John Carroll), John Kaigler, III, Becky Pou (Charles), Rachel Cain (Jim), Kathy Hutto, Sherry Dowd (Nelson) and Andrea Branham. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Denny Memorial Southern Methodist Church, 1647 Old State Road, Gaston, SC 29053.
