It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Gaston Prevatte (Gaston, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gaston Fairley Prevatte and Betty Miller Moorer Prevatte; his son Trenton A. Prevatte; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Rucker and Eddie Clifton Prevatte.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Frances Watts Prevatte; his son Travis E. Prevatte (Kelley); his sisters, Sarah Rish (Marvin), Caroline Slice (Larry), Patricia Jumper and Becky Crider; his grandchildren, Alexandria Prevatte, Kendall Prevatte, Trenton Ashley Prevatte, Jr. and Gavin Prevatte; and his great grandchild Bayleigh Myers.
