He was predeceased by: his parents, Sybil Nelson and Thomas Nelson; and his mother-in-law Betty Steele. He is survived by: his wife Lisa K. Nelson (Steele); his children, Lee C. Nelson (Charity) and Carlotta R. Lindler (Gregory); his grandchildren, Marleigh, Margaret Nelson, Everlee Lindler and Ryker Lindler; and his brothers, Howard and Dennis Nelson (Ellen). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
