She was predeceased by : her husband Ray; her grandson Garrett Ray; and her siblings, Charles Howell, Roger Howell, Larry Howell, David Howell, Nathan Boss Man, Faye Hewitt, Betty McKenzie, Carrie Owens and Penny Howell.

She is survived by : her son Gale Ray (Denise); her grandson Tyler Ray (Margaret); and her nephew Kirk Owens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church (86 Williams Hill Rd, Hemingway, SC 29554).
