She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Eugene Johnson and Vera Alice Porter Johnson; and her sister Dutchin Braisted of Charleston. She is survived by: her daughter Marla Rhett Moberly Merideth of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Cole Merideth of Georgetown and Carson Merideth of Georgetown; her brothers, Mark Johnson (Janet) of Georgetown and Rhett Johnson (Kathy) of Andalusia, AL; and her siblings' children, Will King, Brian Johnson (Kim), Seth Johnson, Rebecca Lewis (Brian), Halsey Blevins (Jared) and Maggie Wall (Adam).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (219 Cleland St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
