He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James Hinds and Lillian Lyda Hinds; his brothers, Joe Hinds and Charles Hinds; his parents-in-law, Mable and Doyle Balliew; and his son-in-law David Cruise.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Hinds (Frankie) of Johnston, SC, Allyson Cruise of Georgetown and Tootie Willhelm (Rob) of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Lanford Wrenn (Brandy), Blair Willhelm, Stephen Wrenn, Wofford Willhelm (Tabatha) and Savannah Hinds; and his great grandchildren, Colin, Kayla, Cantley and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (219 Cleland St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Georgetown (219 Cleland St, Georgetown, SC 29440).
