He was predeceased by: his parents, Eibe Ernest Meyer, Jr. and Ethel Ritter Meyer; his brothers, Ken "Tootie" Hudson, Jack Hudson and Robert Hudson; and his pet Fuz.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Meyer; his daughter Kimberly M. Powers (Jack); his grandchildren, Andie Downs (Michael), Jackie S. "Jackson" Powers III and Sarah Elizabeth Marini; and his sibling's children, Lyn Owen, Reynel Evans (Randy), Rey Branton (Robin), Cathi Jones (Susan Hancks), Susan Jones Zendt and Linda Beck (David). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (219 Cleland St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
