We bid farewell to Ellie Petersen (Georgetown, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Ellie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Ralph Tasher and Eleanor Josephine Anderson Tasher; and her brother Stephen Ralph Tasher, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Martin Edward "Marty" Waltemyer of Pawleys Island; her children, Christy Jeannine Hamilton (Don) of Warrenton, VA, Martin Allan Waltemyer (Holly) of Asheville, NC and Heather Ezell (Jeff) of Appomattox, VA; her grandchildren, Hunter Hamilton, Evan Hamilton, Mason Hamilton, Avery Hamilton, Katelyn Foster (Keaton), Autumn Will, Noah Will, Nicholas Will, Mason Waltemyer and Landon Waltemyer; her great grandchild Ella Foster; her nephews, Brian Onzo-Tasher (Greggory) of San Francisco, CA and Rob Tasher (Erica) of Sellersville, PA; and her aunt Jane Anderson of Glen Mills, PA.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pawleys Island Community Church (10304 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).
