It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Lee Stewart (Georgetown, South Carolina), who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvel Karst Lee and Willis Edwin Lee; and the father of her children Willie Colvin Stewart, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Chawn Stewart (Beth Andrews) of Georgetown and Chaine Stewart (Jennifer) of Georgetown; her granddaughter Ellie Marie Stewart of Summerville; her sister Sandra McLeod of Andrews; her sibling's children, Karlyn McLeod of Andrews, Christpher McLeod of Andrews and James McLeod of Andrews; her stepgrandchildren, Matt Harrelson (Amy) of Andrews, Jessica Moore (Danny) of Georgetown, Katie Harrelson (Jacob Fulmore) of Andrews, Vaughn Gillis (MaryChase) of Mount Pleasant and Palmer Gillis of Mount Pleasant; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava, Mason, Ally, Adaline, Aubree, Tanner, James and Georgia; her aunt Myrtis Graham (W. H.) of North Charleston; her uncle Elmer Lee (Delores) of Georgetown; and her cousins, Marvel, Simeone and Tillman.
After her granddaughter's time at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), she began collecting coloring books, crayons, and stuffed animals to donate to the Children's Hospital.
