He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. McBride and Evelyn McBride (Laprath); and his sister Mattie Brockmoller. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McBride (Charland); his children, Brenda Martin (Joe) of Georgetown, SC and Robert McBride (Sabrina) of McLean, VA; his grandchildren, Ben, Matt, Mikalya and Luke; and his brother Richard "Mac" McBride of Camus, WA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
