Johnnie Ruth Long Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnnie Ruth Long (Georgetown, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer L. Long; her parents, Daniel Derrick Goude and Mary Lessie Sanders Goude; her former husband Harris Cribb; her granddaughter Michelle Marsh; her stepson Michael Long; and her siblings, Bethel Goude, Eddie Mae Cameron, Annie Cameron, Thelma Cribb and Lila Thompkins.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Long (Jennifer) of Georgetown, Pam Van Vlake (Michael) of Georgetown and Judy Sundy (John) of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren, Kelli Howard (Bruce) of Georgetown, Madelynn Long of Murrells Inlet, Taylor Long of Nashville, TN, Sabrina Sundy of Lumberton, NC, Julie Sundy of Lumberton, Nichole Marsh of Lumberton, NC and Angie Marsh of Lumberton; her great grandchild Wyatt Long of Murrells Inlet; her sisters, Lois Tompkins (Hassie) of Georgetown and Queen Esther Ballard of Mt. Pleasant; and her sister-in-law Miriam Goude of Hemingway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Huxfield Cemetery (5060 Pleasant Hill Dr, Hemingway, SC 29554).
