He is survived by: his wife Minnie Sue Benton; his children, Andrea Amann (David), Jeffrey Benton (Ginger), Daniel Benton (Frannie) and Shayne Benton; his daughter-in-law Shannon Benton; his grandchildren, Kaylee McCann (Brandon), Brittany Sapp, Johnny Cook (Brittany-Ann), Ashley Amann, Leah Benton, Michael Benton, Brayden Benton, Ansley Benton, Cheyanne Hanford, Logan Hanford, Cynthia Benton, Nathan Benton, Marshall Benton, Bailey and Charleigh Pevey; his great grandchildren, Olivia Redick, Kasen Wynn, Emery Powell, Talon McCann and Emma McCann; and his pet Lilly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens (1640 Pennyroyal Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Marty's memory.
