It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myron H. Smith (Georgetown, South Carolina), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harley Smith and Louise Johnson Smith; his son Myron H. Smith, Jr.; his brother David Smith; his nieces, Karen Biddy and Michelle Goings; his great-niece Cameron Oviedo; his mother-in-law Marjie Owens; and his brothers-in-law, Linwood Goings and Jenks West.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra West Smith; his daughter-in-law Angie Smith of Georgetown; his great-nieces, Savannah J. Ard, Summer Goings (Randall Addison) of Georgetown and Cortley Bone of Georgetown; his sister-in-law Marcia Goings of Georgetown; his aunts, Wilma Silva of Charleston and Joyce Mitchell of Hemingway; RJ Addison, Kari Addison, Kmaloni Addison and Raeloni Addison.
