She was predeceased by: her husband Horace B. "H. B." Mincey, Jr.; her parents, Samuel H. "Red" Nelson, Jr. and Ruth Hensley Nelson; and her grandson CJ Strickland. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Hatfield Cross of Georgetown, Gary R. Hatfield of Maryville, TN and Horace B. "Ben" Mincey, III of Surfside Beach; her grandchildren, Aaron Hatfield, Ashley Hatfield, Courtney Strickland, Keziah Mincey, Michael Mincey and Gabriel Mincey; her great grandchildren, Masyn Strickland, Caiden Carr and Camden Carr; her cousin Diane Nelson of Corryton, TN; and her caregiver Brenda Deas of Georgetown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
