We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2025, at the age of 92, Peggy Ann Lytle McCurry (Georgetown, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon McCurry; her parents, Oren Forrest "O. F." Lytle and Annie Parker Lytle; her son Paul McCurry; and her sisters, Mary Margaret Riggins, Polly Lytle Salzman and Helen Harmon Phifer.
She is survived by: her son Jerry L. McCurry (Kelly) of Pawleys Island; her daughter-in-law Brenda McCurry of Greer; and her grandchildren, Tarah Taylor (Jason) of Greer, Tierce McCurry (Stephanie) of Greer, Logan McCurry (Ella) of Travelers Rest, Austin McCurry (Kelly) of Georgetown and Blake McCurry (Lizzi) of Awendaw. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edwards Road Baptist Church, 1050 Edwards Rd. Greenville, SC 29615.
