She was predeceased by : her husband Jimmy "Bubba" Boyd Ard; her parents, Buford Burkette and Mary Creel Johnson; her daughter Traci Link; and her brothers-in-law, Glenn Ard, Bobby Ard (Pam) and Steve Truesdale.

She is survived by : her children, Jeff Ard (Tracy) and Jordan Ard-Wilderman (Michael); her grandchildren, Arden, Maddie and Asher; her siblings, Ronald Burkette (Jane) and Diane Schrader (Blair); and her extended family, Nancy Cox (Al), Cindy Strickland (LaRell) and Sandra Truesdale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Georgetown First Assembly of God.
