In loving memory of Phillip Keith Cumbie Sr. of Georgetown, South Carolina, who departed this world on April 27, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cumbie and Bernice Cumbie; and his siblings, George Cumbie, Bobby Cumbie, Allen Cumbie and Mary Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Cumbie; his children, Cheryl Ashenfelder (Dwayne), Phil Cumbie (Robin) and Craig Cumbie (Nancy); his grandchildren, Dustin Ashenfelder, Lauren Shelton (Chad), Justin Rooney, Nicholas Cumbie (Katelyn), Kailie Schwerin (Charlie), Hannah Cumbie Bruorton, Brian Michael (Courtney) and Micah Ashenfelder; his great grandchildren, Crew Shelton, Braxton McCurdy, Colter Rooney, Mailie Shelton, Charlotte Cumbie, Sylvia Bruorton, Sylvie Cumbie and Lytton Schwerin; and his sisters, Catherine Ward, Freida Wilson and Inez McGee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Screven Baptist Church (2221 S Island Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens (1640 Pennyroyal Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440).
