She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy M. Heistand and Myrtle Heistand (Neff); and her brothers, Robert and Donald Heistand. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Stroud (Gary); her daughters, Dawn Nolt (Barry) of Lititz and Tamara Fennell (Anthony) of Fredericksburg; and her grandchildren, Jada, Christopher Fennell, Ryan Nolt, Meghan Nolt (Drew Schmidt) and Dylan Nolt.
