It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Norris Coleman of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Fannie Bertie Lewis Norris; her son Jerry Coleman; and her siblings, John Norris, Mildred Suggs, Robert Norris, James Norris, Archie Norris, Edith Russell, Janie Martin and Dock Norris.
She is survived by: her spouse Maxcy Coleman; her sister Betty Causey (John) of Georgetown; her sibling's children, Rick Martin (Debbie) of Georgetown, Patrick Causey (Gilda) of Georgetown, Rick Coleman (Wanda) of Georgetown, Sharon Richardson (Eddie) of Murrells Inlet, Patty Cumbee (Larry) of Georgetown and Carolyn Casey (Wade) of Alexandria, Virginia; her sister-in-law Estelle Norris; and her nephews, David and Steve.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, 219 Cleland Steet, Georgetown, SC 29440.
