It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Thornley of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Edward E Thornley; her grandmother Annie Goude; and her parents, Stephen Andrew Sr. and Ruth Goude Miller. She is survived by : her sister Barbara; her sons, Colin Patrick Thornley and Andrew Leroy Thornley; her daughter-in-law Leigh Thornley; her grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Abigail and Rachel; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Evie, Grayson and Amelia.
Though Shirley loves Sunflowers, yellow roses and all flowers, it was Shirley's wish, in the event of her passing, that, if preferred, in lieu of flowers, that any tax deductible donation in her memory be given to SERGE, "for Colin P Thornley's Missionary support" https://give.serge.org or your local church.
