She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Owens; her parents, Evelyn Austin Montgomery and Reverend Benjamin Marvin Montgomery; and her brothers, Gene and Marvin Montgomery.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce M. Douglass; her children, Thomas P. Owens, Jr. (Kelly) of Dallas, Texas, Denee O. Rogers (Allen) of Georgetown, Beth O. Sawyer (Mac) of Chapin and Janet O. Williams (Pete) of Pawleys Island; and her family, Silvia Williams, Linda Shaw, Brittany Simpson, Vivian Keith, Cathy Brown, Audrey Scott, LaSaundra Cuttino and Debbie Brown. She is also survived by grandchildren; and fifteen cherished great grandchildren as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
