He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Cooper and Mary Louise High Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hickman Cooper; his son Terrence Cooper (Sharon) of McDonough, GA; his siblings, Louise Altman of Georgetown and Lynwood Cooper (Donna) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Brian Cooper of Wilmington, NC, Steven Cooper of Georgetown, Brandi Cooper (JT), Ava Cooper of Georgetown and Tyler Cooper of McDonough, GA; his stepgrandson Seth Holladay of Georgetown; and his great grandchildren, Shane, Brayden, Brantley, Liam, Addelyn, Paisley, Brynlee and Braxton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
