She was predeceased by : her children, Brandon Johnson and Toni Parsons; and her grandparents, Elmira Pope, Larry and Claudia Howard.

She is survived by : her spouse Jodie Josiah Parsons; her stepdaughter Brandie Parsons Cribb (James) of Andrews; her brothers, Frankie Howard of Georgetown, Ronald Howard of Georgetown and Robert Howard of Jefferson; her stepmother Maggie Lynn Ackerman of Andrews; her stepbrothers, Bobby Howard of Georgetown and Bruce Howard (Cissy) of Conway; and her half-sister Claudia Howard of Georgetown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (2918 Highmarket St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
