He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Tyson Alexander Curtis, Sr. and Betty Hale Curtis; his former wife Faye Thompson Curtis; and his son Marion Walter "Woody" Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Becky Ward Curtis; his son Tyson Alexander "Ty" Curtis, III (Caroline); his sisters, Gale Curtis Elliott and Joy Curtis Bryan Stuckey; his grandchildren, Emily Curtis, Tyson Curtis, Paul Mason, Woody Preot Curtis and Pierce Curtis; and his daughter-in-law Dr. Marie Curtis.
