He is survived by: his children, Carl William Smith and Tonya Elaine Smith of Gilbert; his grandchildren, Michael Smith, James 'Jimmy Smith, Clara Elaine Smith, Heather E. Smith and Bryan Walker; his stepdaughters, Susan F. Hayes and Sarah E. Hayes; his great grandchildren, Violet Reyes and Hayden Smith; and his siblings, Calvin Baxter Smith (Alice), Terry W. Smith, Sr., Pamela Hamden (Marcus) and Becky Jo Smith. He is also survived by fourteen step grandchildren.
