He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rudolph and Frances Williamson Gantt; his children, Sherri Jo Gantt and Carl Gantt; and his siblings, JoEtta Belk and Edward Gantt.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Deborah), Mike (Kathleen), Randy (Lisa), Barry (Robin) and Melinda See (Mike); his sister Gloria Ryan; his caregiver Janice Gantt; and his pet Cash. He is also survived by grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
