He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Mielke and Ida Stohs Mielke; his stepfather Rev. George F. Horn; and his siblings, Ernest Mielke and Esther Stillman.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Weed Mielke; his children, Joni Fisher of Houston, Texas and Todd Mielke (Cara) of Chapin; his grandchildren, Brian Fisher (Christie), Eric Fisher (Sarah) of Houston, Brett Mielke of Irmo and Maria Mielke of Chapin; his great grandchildren, Beckham, Jace and Hallie; his sisters, Margaret Meetze of Irmo and Helen Lindler of Chapin; and also Jean Mielke of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
