With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay A Caneup of Gilbert, South Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Kay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Kay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley N Caneup and Carolyn Allen Caneup. She is survived by: her siblings, Curtis Caneup of Gilbert, Karen Quattlebaum and Donna Hanger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Southland Memorial Gardens (700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southland Memorial (820 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
