It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Paxton Shealy of Gilbert, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Mary Proctor Paxton; her husband Kimball Emanuel Shealy; and her daughter Kimberly Shealy Wright. She is survived by: her children, Miriam Shealy Matthews (Wesley) and Michael Emanuel Shealy (Jackie); her grandchildren, Meredith Matthews Derrick (Robert), Mackenzie Matthews Taylor (Blair), Megan Matthews Moore (Michael), Michael Bryson Shealy and Jackson Emanuel Shealy; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Britt Derrick, Katherine Ruth Derrick, Harrison Yates Taylor, Proctor Reeves Taylor, Brooke Louise Moore, Henry Theodore Moore, Mary Claire Moore and Wesley Michael Moore.
