William Earle Thornburg Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 13, 2025, William Earle Thornburg (Gilbert, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, James Conley, Mary Ann Conley, John Marshall, Sr., Mary Helen Marshall and William C. Lederer; and his parents, Willis O. Thornburg and Dorothy M. Thornburg.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte L. Thornburg; his children, Patty Woodburn (John), Pam Corbliss (Mark) and Greg Thornburg (Jeppa); his grandchildren, Sarah Burke (Andrew), Joe Woodburn (Adam Fox), Dakota Corbliss (Madison), Logan Corbliss (Michelle), Hunter Corbliss, Noah Corbliss, Quinn Corbliss, Savannah Corbliss and Paige Thornburg; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Gabrielle Burke; and his sister Rachael M. Lederer (Thornburg). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Beulah Methodist Church and/or the Methodist Men's Group.
