With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Curtis Wayne Forrester of Goose Creek, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Forrester and Arthur Dewey Forrester; his daughter Stephonie Gutherie (Mark); his former wife Becky; and his siblings, Addie Maude Moseley and Charles (Clyta).
He is survived by: his wife Avise; his daughters, Jennie Forrester and Patty Giorgianni (Frank); his siblings, Cody (late Barbara), Carl (Betty Ann), Claudell (Joan), Audrey Jones (late Wilbur) and Adale Andrews (late Randall); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Blackwell, Peggy Bonner (late Dean) and Kathy Linder; his grandchildren, Jared (Julie Springsteen), Anastasia, John Paul Chrysostom (Riley), Rachel Parris (Kevin) and Carla Fisher (JB); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Ava Chrysostom, Ty, Chase, Eric Fisher, Gracie and Mazie Parris; and his children, Walter Kirby and Lisa Baer (Vern).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the First Baptist of Goose Creek (141 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
