He is survived by: his wife Bonita B. Tavares of Goose Creek, SC; his daughters, Sara Carter (Hunter) and Toni Orefice (Jay); his parents, Bill Tavares and Lorena Tavares; and his siblings, Billy Tavares (Ericka) and Diane McCauley (Jay). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Funeral Home (130 W 1st N St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
