He is survived by: his fiancée Annette Rutledge of Goose Creek, SC; his children, Edward Connell of Goose Creek, SC and Rebecca Grainger of Dennis, TN; his siblings, Judy Grainger of Ladson, SC and Richard Dillon Grainger (Anita) of Douglasville, GA; and his great grandchild Lizzie Mae. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
