He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Nettles and Lucia Williams Nettles. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Nettles Still (Joe) of Summerville, SC, Sandra Nettles Huddle (Randy) of Ladson, SC, Janice Nettles Fabian (Gary) of Goose Creek, SC and Kimberly Gail Nettles of Goose Creek, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua Lee Huddle, Kaitlyn Still Housand (Andrew), Ashley Fabian Vincent (Ethan), Kristen Huddle Collins (Brandon), Taylor Christian Still (Rachel), Casey Fabian Dowling (Gage), Joseph David Sfreddo and Jackson Dylan Sfreddo; his great grandchildren, Emmett Craig Housand, Elliott Jane Housand, Emma Kate Housand, Easton Everett Housand, Emerson Blake Collins and Avery Wren Collins; and his close friend Roscoe Turnage (Charlene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
